Dr. Jonathan Parsons has been teaching at Yreka High School for the last 16 years and he has loved every minute of it. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area (Go Giants!), he attended the University of California, Berkeley for a B.S. in Wildlife and Resource Management, and later San Francisco State University for his teaching credential. After teaching several years in San Francisco, he returned to Washington State University for his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. A number of circumstances led to Dr. Parsons moving to Siskiyou county...and now he'll never leave.
